A New Character???

Is this a new character and if it is I wonder how long before we see a Trackmaster (ugh! would make him too fat) Tomy (yay! with old flat drive or the rear motor) motorized toy??? I think he would make a good looking, different engine for our layouts if done right. Anyone know more?

Yes super, I have to agree, if plarail made it it could very easily (possibly) be defaced and file his funnel down flat and you could have a interesting Diesel engine.

For sure the defacing part but because he is so different I think I would leave him a steam engine with the funnel. Does anyone know the real life version, if there is one?

Howdy Super!

Logan is a Wooden Railway exclusive engine, so plans for him being manufactured in TrackMaster might be unlikely; the fanbase has no indications of whether this CGI appearance means that he will join the crew in the show, or if this was just a way for Fisher-Price to get him some more publicity for parents to purchase the little shunting engine from the Wooden Railway for their collectors.

Darn, I hope they do in the future as he sure looks like a neat little shunter. Do you happen to know if Logan is base on a real engine?

All I see is a black box. If this is a YouTube Video you posted I am having the same problem with just copying the address bar in the browser. What I have had too do to make the viewer show the video is to click the "Share" button on the YouTube page and copy that address then paste it in the viewer here on the Forum...at least that works for me. I don't know if its something that YouTube has changed or how are viewer works.

It's a problem if u hit share on the video because it gives u a link of the video and at the time u paused it. so it will play at like 0:54. that messes up Embedding

Many thanks for the video Ucwepn. Thats quite the shunter. Seems to be missing the front plates and I don't see a steam funnel like the one on Logan but is that the smokebox taking up all that space inside the cab and a smoke funnel on the roof? It must be very hot in the cab with all that hot steel. Too bad he isn't well enough known for a Tomy model.

Yes true that it will probably not be released in the motorized range of either brand or appear very much in the show or any specials, but an interesting looking loco. I am very happy Plarail are making a motorized Marion after trackmaster seemingly dropped plans for her.
