Howdy NWRMainLineTerminal!
These sets from 2008 - 2012 are getting harder and harder to find new in box, especially the Trans-Liner; they fetch a pretty penny on eBay, and other online auction sites nowadays due to the items no longer being manufactured. This newer line of the Hyper Guardians only has 3 rescue forces (Police, Fire, Utility) and a villain's train (Waruda Scorpion[well worth the purchase]), which fetch a pretty penny themselves with their spring-loaded action features to enhance play.

Thanks Hank, do you think they are worth the buy now?
More and more...
I would say why not, as they shall become more valuable in the future, due to its rarity.

In my personal opinion, the 'older' range from 2008 - 2012 is definitely worth the buy; there were 6 different "teams" to deal with emergencies-- The Force Leaders, Police, Utility, Fire(Medical accompanying them), Transport, and the Repair Force. I've a video that introduces, and consequently summarizes, the entire 2008 - 2012 line somewhere on my channel before I delve into the Transport Force sets and their reviews.
The only new Hyper Guardian Force set I've bought was the Waruda Scorpion, and I think it was definitely worth the purchase.
