Communter train and Shinkansen

Family just back from a week's skiing in Hokkaido. On their way home they picked these two for me. Someone chose the suburban because it was like the trains they had used. They little one chose the Shink because it was pink.



The S43 set is interesting. As well as the expected clickety-clack sound as it goes along, it makes a doors opening sound just after it stops.
