After 23 years (since the film adaptation of Philosopher's Stone) without a Hogwarts Express in Plarail, I didn't think they'd ever actually make it anymore; or any other non-Japanese steamers, for that matter. Felt a bit odd seeing how long it took for a custom version to appear online (by KaizouThomas), knowing many Thomas locos have similar proportions to a Hall class and Henry is one of the closest-looking without a complete rebuild.

Sun even predicted opening coach/es with the Golden Trio as Plakids 11 years ago, so that's also a nice touch. They could've done a bit better with Ron's head and the coach design, though. Harry and Hermione seem to be more "polished" and look about as good as their LEGO versions. Don't really get the decision to make the loco tender-drive, since they have made loco-drives with smaller boilers than that (assuming that's why they did it).

Would be neat if TOMY could set up a new UK branch (similar to Tomica World) and get the rights to release this and other UK trains over there. Should they ever consider it, I hope Mattel/Sony Creative Products and WB would let them reuse their licenced toolings.
