Custom old shape Henry

Here is a model i completed back in October of last year, a model of Henry the green engine depicted in his old shape from the first season of the television series.

Made using a 2002 Tomy henry with the firebox removed and resculpted using Milliput, the top feed was also removed and filled with Milliput, same with the smokebox supports. all imperfections where further filled using Tamiya filler and sanded down smooth. the lamp's on the front were also removed and replaced with spare James lamp irons I had on hand. the body of the locomotive was then sprayed with a layer of primer then brush painted with a custom mix of green acrylic paint. The pinstripes were then done with paint markers, after all the paint was dried I sprayed the body in a final coat of semi-gloss clear coat and the model was done. recently I have applied window stickers to the front taken from an old Tomy Gordon. Please let me know your thoughts on this custom, I'm very proud of it personally.

Well Done!

I wish my hands, eyes and patience were up to doing lining with a paint marker.

Very nicely done CJ. I particularly like the texture of the paint, was that intentional or did it come from spraying the clear coat?

BTW: Welcome to BluePlasticTrack's 👍

It's a minor nitpick but it would be better with painted eyes. It's a really good custom! Even the green looks similar to the updated Plarail model from 2003!
it was a happy accident, clear coat will 99% of the time never lay perfectly without a prefect set of circumstances, like humidity and wind speed. however it dose not bother me nor is it distracting enough.

thank you for welcoming me to the site  Heart

the pictures look saturated to me, like edited to be bright neon
