Big Auction Win

I just won an auction that with came with 2 version of the Tomica World 7436 RC Train Set (and some other bits and bobs) for 45$ usd! It should arrive soon and it will be very fun to have especially if they work (they do seem to be in very good condition).

I'm going to love having the gray track pieces and the brown risers, along with the road piece that turns the road vehicles 180. Overall a very nice find, that I will definitely enjoy. I will try and remember to post a video and some pictures of the sets and the lot as a whole after they do arrive.

Not only will you enjoy those grey tracks in the IRC 7436 set, it also includes the very hard to find grey curved ramp rails.

I don't know much about non Thomas items, but I know you'll enjoy them and congradulation on your latest purchase.

Must be extra items in that box as I don't think that the set came with any road pieces and those turntables are for the road. They are hard to get a hold of especially in great working order as they are temperamental at least in my experience. They have tons of gears inside.

Also not sure what this is which I don't think was included in the original set.
   

Well it has finally received it from the mail and after looking through it all, these are the "bits and bobs", I was talking about. I've already own 1 of them turntables and it doesn't work, and now I have these 2 and... they don't work (I really want one that works but these pieces actually working feel like the lottery :[ ). Now the thing you pointed out is one of those drawbridges, which might (just speculation) be from the "Thomas Medium Set" (I love the history of this set), because the lot also came with a 1992 Thomas w/ Annie & Clarabel! Thomas does work, he had some corrosion, but I cleaned it off and he works not, pretty good too.

       

The Text didn't show up the best but it does say 1992 and is missing the middle wheels (as the original did). It could've not been from the Medium Set, as there was no station, and it was bought separately. 

   

Also the R/C set with the gray track in 100% complete, all the pieces are here. And of course the best part, It works! The motor works great and it receives the signal really well. I haven't tested the other set yet, but good chance the controller for that set doesn't work (it's quite gunky).
