The Railway Nippon latest release is the the Memorial JR Central Kiha 85 Express Nanki Edition

This is the first game that explores a retired train.  The Kiha 85 "Nanki" which retired in June 2023 was fortunately covered (video wise) for the video game from Nagoya Station to Shingu Station.

On Christmas day, Sonic Powered has released the third "VSE Complete Retirement Last Run" DLC for the Nintendo Switch.

The White Romance Car/VSE-50000 series was sadly retired in 2023.

This DLC allows you to experience driving the last run of the VSE-50001 train, which took place on December 10, 2023.

On the day of the last run, which is blessed with good weather, you will be aboard a special train departing from platform 2 at Sagami-Ono Station, illuminated by the dazzling morning light.

With a full load of passengers sad to say goodbye, the train heads to Katase-Enoshima Station, the end of the Enoshima Line, and then turns back to Sagami-Ono.

From Sagami-Ono, the train enters the uphill section of the Odawara Line and passes through Seijo Gakuenmae Station. From there, the train will enter the Kitami Train Depot from Seijo Gakuenmae and meet the VSE-50002 train, which had already completed its last run!

After that, the train will change direction to the Odawara Line and run a long distance of 98km from Shin-Yurigaoka to the terminal "Karakida Station".

In addition to the Odawara Line and Enoshima Line, you can enjoy driving on the Tama Line, where the VSE does not usually run, and many fans can be seen watching the VSE's final heroic figure [Last Run of the Day].

I decide to give the brand new "Tetsudo Nippon! Memorial JR Central Kiha 85 Express Nanki" a try and definitely different from the other games and a more premium feel.

Not use to the double controls for speed and brake for this game just yet.  But that 23 min. stretch for the first run is quite interesting...  At least not as unforgiving as some games where the stretch can last almost two hours.
