Hi everyone,
In a few months, I'll be taking a week long trip to Japan, specifically Tokyo. I am obviously quite excited about this, and I look forward to finally getting to ride and experience the Japanese trains that have fascinated me for so long, as well as of course to expand my Plarail collection . As of now, I am definitely planning on visiting the Plarail shop at Tokyo Station. However, this shop stocks only the main range of trains. From what I understand, many private railway companies will collaborate with Plarail to release exclusive trains that are not considered part of the normal Plarail range. These models are very pricey online as it seems they can only be purchased directly from the operator at physical stores. I have two main questions regarding these exclusive trains: Where are they available to purchase(I assume at the department stores operated by the rail companies, but what about smaller operators that don't have a department store?), and what models are currently available. I would greatly appreciate if any of the users on here could give me some assistance as I don't really have any idea what to do in order to locate these trains.
Thanks,
SET
