Motor Road and Rail Question

Does anyone know the story behind this set? I have never seen another in this US Style box. The set is dated 2002 and James has the painted face. I know it got an international release, but not too familiar with history behind it.

I have this one - A Day Out with James

It's the same one (in the US is called James at Wellsworth Station).

It was released by Tomica World in 2002. Furthermore, it's a great set; I bought it back then, and everything works today. The engines are a bit noisy when passing the station due to the specific stop track. That's all I know about it, but I'm sure someone else will know more. Smile

"A Day Out with James Set (known in the US as James at Wellsworth Station) is a Tomica World set. In the US this set was only sold online and in mail-order catalogs."

This set is the only release of LOR1 in the US.

Thanks Dr Chris. Is that image a box that you have?
