Christmas Bundle #2

12 Replies, 6882 Views

This parcel was one that was posted from the USA a week before the M2 bundle I posted about the other week, however it got hung up in UK customs waiting for a charge to be paid which I was never informed about - a lesson to be learned here, if you have a tracked parcel showing in clearing for a long period contact them like I did, if you don't after a certain period they will either return to sender or destroy the package if the charges have not been settled!

Anyway, this one had some more M2's in it, but also some rather nice Nascar diecasts that I had picked up, enjoy!

Wow, eight complete sets of 5 each Nascars, those look very collectable for the 50th Anniversary. And each set includes a special Gold Chrome car. Great finds

Yeah I have to say that was a tremendous score on eBay, one BIN sale and at a very good price, I've since seen individual sets of five going for nearly half of what I paid for the complete set of eight packs (complete set).  The quality of the cars looks pretty good also, although I'm reluctant to go opening those as they are a complete set and almost 20 years old as well, maybe I'll find another deal in the coming months Smile

Meanwhile wait till you see what I got in the next shipment, not left the USA yet as waiting for the holiday season to finish, but there are some stunning items in that Smile

More coming...awesome.

Let me know if you ever come across a 1970 Ford Torino. Although not billed as a 'Muscle Car' it was a beauty in my eyes Big Grin

I've already got some made by M2 Machines, always a favourite of mine, probably due to the use of the Gran Torino in Starsky and Hutch (yes I know I'm showing my age) Smile

Thanks Nigel.

The first one is very close without the spoiler, blackened hood a the fact that its a Cobra. I even put in a Holley Carburetor which, at the time, was the go fast upgrade. Hmmm...wonder if I should look into building a model and make it the way and paint that I want it.
Hi Super,

There are many more out there made both by M2 Machines (my favourite as you know) as well as Greenlight, Autoworld and possibly Johnny Lightning.  So you can probably find one in the right colours and configuration, but re-painting is relatively easy these days - another advantage of the M2's is that the body is held onto the chassis using screws rather than rivets so easily disassembled for customs Smile

BTW - Happy New Year!

Cheers, Nigel
