If a white base is desired, a cheap Rayon “snow” base is available at many discount stores. Like a carpet, for Christmas trees, comes in a rectangle.

In the past, I’ve used a white sheet or tablecloth and then white poly fill “snow” over that. This year, I’m considering white fleece but anything is in play. I really want to incorporate more landscape features, like water and mountains, but that hasn’t worked to my liking thus far.
