Another 60th Anniversary Thomas???

Hi guys,
I was just looking at the Trackmaster wiki and I came across this:



It's titled "60th Anniversary Campaign Thomas"
I never knew this existed as I thought the only 60th anniversary Plarail Thomas there was was this one:


I find it fascinating that I've never heard or seen anything to do about this train and would love to learn more. The word "campaign" in its title leads me to believe that maybe it was a prize in one of those campaign of the lucky draws, like how the gold thomas was won. If anyone has any information to share about it that would greatly appreciated.

I love that individual blue box, looks vintage and one I don't recall seeing before. Now I too am curious. Wonder why they didn't put a 60th anniversary decal on it so it didn't look like all the other Thomas's.

Yeah, it's quite distinctive. The only thing that distinguishes it from other plarail thomas' is the flags across the side from him. Other then that i think its the exact same as other trains

Isn't there a couple other Thomas's that have flags along the sides or maybe they were just banners?

There are, but they aren't as simple as this, and most of them are trackmaster releases, not plarail

Yes we have one.

Sorry Muddy but from what i see, the carnival delivery set has a different flag pattern to this plarail one. And this is a plarail thomas so it'll have a different shape and different details to this one too. It might be another train that contributes to the never ending quest of "collecting them all"

Is it also possible that the Plarail one has a white boiler plate (see the white line) and the (I forget the proper name) black hub is not red like the Trackmaster one.
