Plarail Expo this Year?????

Anyone know if the Plarail Expo will be held as usual in Tokyo this year. I believe that its always held in the Spring. I always look forward to seeing whats new and for the announcements of what is coming. Anybody?

The translator doesn't translate that flyer so I am not sure what that says but it does translate the text below it which explains the cancellation. I must say that I am not impressed with the 2 expo giveaways vehicles. First time in many years I have said that. Wonder how this will affect any new announcements and future announcements of new trains.

It’s funny but I looked at the giveaways and thought I *could* use a couple off those N700 coaches.

My understanding that while Japan was spared in the initial wave of COVID cases, they’re starting to see more now. I have a feeling that a lot of the big hobby and toy events (among other things) will end up cancelled this year.

In fact 2019 giveaway was a shame in my opinion, the blue Clarabel and the fake cargo boxcar just was the fake in all fakes in my honest opinion.

i guess either Plarail ran out of ideas or trying to cut costs here and there.

Also, don't they also offer a Plarail Expo Exclusive releases for sale at most Expo years?

Some Expo items get sold in normal Plarail Shops. Free admission items like the blue Clarabel is not sold, but only distributed for free at the Plarail Expo gate.

Off the top of my head there was the 10000 Tokyo Monorail that I believe was a Plarail Expo exclusive where it was only available at the show right? For some reason my mind says there were others but I can't recall what they were.
