I sure don't understand his thought process here. If he had a beef with the home owner, what would it prove to do this in front of the persons house in the open in broad daylight. This has to come under the "Stupid Criminals". Its wrong all the way around but me always trying to figure out the reasoning behind a human action can't help but think that there would be another way to do something devious without being caught.

Why stop in front of the house, then,
why place the package under the wheels,
then, why walk up to the house without the package with clipboard, then
get back in the truck and run over it 3 times.
LOL, I his mind, did he reason that it would look like an accident then?

I think a lot of the psychology behind 'stupid crimes' comes down to the fact that when most humans are significantly emotional about something (upset, defiant, vengeful etc) they tend to act on impulse and not put a lot of thought/reason/planning behind their actions. This then usually leads to massive regret at some point in the future!
