Thomas Box Graphics???

Has this set always had these terrific graphics on it? I don't recall seeing these but I do like it. Must be an earlier version as the box has the 'Britt' signature at the top. Was this same set re-released in different boxes in both Trackmaster and/or Tomy/Plarail?

I've never seen that box art before.

I don't think I've seen Owen Bell illustrations on TOMY products before. This is new to me, but it obviously predates the 2000s because he stopped in 1996 (which sounds wrong to me because Season 5 premiered two years later).
