There is also this similar one released in the same year in the UK with a motorized Jack? 'Super Sodor Adventure Set' https://thomastrackmaster.fandom.com/wik...enture_Set

I am pretty sure Jack was also released in a package by himself. I am going to look and see if I still have two Byron’s and see if one is smaller, but I think sold it off some time ago.
If you look at the Gallery on this Wikia page it looks like Jack came in 2 Motorized version and one Free Wheelin. https://thomastrackmaster.fandom.com/wiki/Jack
And it looks like you are right about the snowy Byron Ripley https://thomastrackmaster.fandom.com/wiki/Byron
No Ripley we don't have this set...
I was thinking the exact same thing about a possible chassis swap too!! Will have to investigate soon! Also, all of the non-motorized vehicles were released with snowy versions, with the exception of Monty and Jack.
Play nice & have fun!!
Do you have a motorized Jack Muddy? I don't recall seeing him on the Layout but I may have just missed him.
Yes Super, We have both Jack's...
They are at the end of the narrow side of our layout near Hector's tar spill, lifting yellow barrels into some Troublesome trucks.
Play nice & have fun!!
Ah...there he is.
Looking at pictures Online it looks like Motorized Jack has fixed fake wheels...is that right?
I had a look at Byron, I am not seeing a possible chassis swap possible for him unfortunately.
just sorting out vehicles for an open day next month, and thought it would be worth mentioning trackmaster also did a motorised terence, but not as detailed as the tomy one, in my view. the tomy one has a driver and a bucket on the front.
photos of both can be found here https://sunstomyandfriends.weebly.com/to...icles.html
my website address has changed: https://sunscollections.weebly.com/
Thanks Sun, I only realized recently that there was 2 and I did acquire the one with the driver and front bucket. I am recalling, thus assuming, that the driver one was part of a action set like a Big Loader or something and not sold individually...is that right?
