Thats a great question Fred. Wonder why? Wonder if there was a specific reason like poor sales or problems with the vehicles. Maybe there was a small parts and young children issue. Might anyone have an idea?

for one thing the N batteries are harder to find (you can't find them in Dollar stores) and more expensive.

I can't speak for other country's but the 'N' batteries are readily available in the States and not expensive like this set of 2 Duracells on Ebay Duracells plus I have found that about half of the motorized vehicles us AAA's. I would also assume that the 'N' batteries are also easy to find in Japan as I wouldn't think they would create a vehicle where the batteries are hard to find in their normal market.
It cheaper to buy online in NZ. In shop it 8 dollars for 2 battery. On online in NZ you get 50 for 32.50 NZD (20.64 USD) Link here
I have to go to a watch repair shop just to get N batteries.

I see that Amazon.ca has lots of listings for N Batteries Leyland.
I think I found some more
If anybody here has deep pocket, you may want to consider this listing on ebay https://www.ebay.ca/itm/Tomy-Tomica-Thom...SwGbldKydA

Thanks for still looking out for the list Leyland
I do see 2 that aren't in the list in this Lot, both being not seen by me before. There is a variation of a Zoo Bus that is not in the List (close but not the exact same) and that red Tanker that I have not seen before. Does anyone have more info on these especially that red Tanker and possibly so closer pictures?
Tobu Group Bus
Somewhat hard to find but I managed to get a hold of this new one. A bit disappointed as it is all plastic when I thought the body was going to be diecast. Also what is odd is that on the box the Model is C-01 but under the chassis it is E-04. Brings our total to 68 so far and I know there are a few more if not more than that.
say doesn't the 75th anniversary tomy book lists all the vevhicles out there?
