I do love watching this YouTubers comparison videos. Here is one we all can relate to...Which AA Battery is the best taking into account Price and Power? Whats your favorite? Also at the end of the video hes asks if the viewers would like to see these same tests done with AAA's or one with Rechargeables...I voted for the rechargeable . I found the drop test interesting.
Which AA Battery is Best? Can Amazon Basics beat Energizer? Let's find out!

All I know is in my experience if there is a 'leak' test Energiser will probably come bottom
Happily collecting things all my life...
Duracell has been my go too. It seems to hold a charge nicely and I have not had too many that leak, although there have been some. I am amazed at how bad some like cheap ones are, some lasting only a few times around the track.
Since I can’t actually watch the entire video without being interrupted, here’s the take away I got....
In terms of regular alkaline batteries, Duracell is pretty darn good and Energizer is pretty close. Amazon is okay but wins major points for being cheap relative to their milliamp hours. Bargain store brands are crap and end up being relatively expensive because of how fast they drain. Lithium batteries beat them all but have a disadvantage in terms of cost versus MAH. Did I get that right or was there some salient point I missed?
My go to battery has been the Energizer Ultimate Lithium's for several years now for these trains. I bought a hundred of them packaged then and love them. I find the trains run faster and hold the 1.5v's much longer with them. I have a re-charger that does Alkaline, Ni-Mh and Ni-Cd in C, AAA, AA, D and even 9 volt. They say you can re-charge non-rechargables from 5 to 10 times. I use them in things that use batteries that I don't care about or things that use up batterys fast.
I like watching comparison videos as reading all the info and charts out there confuse me. Here is another basic test of some AA's
I use Panasonic mainly that's the only batteries my local dollar stores sells. I never have any battery acid leak. Duracell on the hand not so much.
I usually use Sunbeam batteries because of the price .
Making Customs, Filming Videos and looking for the purest engines. That's how I roll here on Blue Plastic Tracks.

In Thaailand I use Panasonic Eneloop Battery. It's rechargeable, long lasting, and it had done good performance over the past 6 years

That’s good to know since I keep some Eneloop batteries and various chargers handy for emergency backup.
