I didn't realize that its been such a long time since I received a package from the Auctions of Japan. This is mostly due to the winding down of the items I am looking for. Here you see some miscellaneous items I needed to complete so sets of rolling stock. From Japan I only need one version of an Expo coach x2 that I still need and one blue expansion bridge (see story below).
You will notice a wind-up tin plate Disney Monorail toy. I wasn't sure but I was hoping that the wheelbase was similar to the Tomy tracks but alas a little too small. I still was curious and for the fact that it had the Disney Logo and the spelling of Resort Line in English I opened the bidding at 100yen.....and won. So certainly couldn't go wrong for a Disney item that is in perfect condition.
Story:
I had won the elusive blue suspension bridge that I needed to pair with the one I have but...................... The price for the Auction started high and I put in the opening bid for that and was the only bidder when the Auction ended. I received the "You Won" Email from Japamart and when they sent me the bill I paid for it. I was holding all these pictured items in their Warehouse waiting for the bridge set to arrive. After ten days from the auction ending went by with to bridge arriving at the warehouse I contacted Japamart inquiring if they would check on it. They contacted me the next day stating that they will refund my money and that the Seller 'Cancelled' the purchase.........What!!!.............its been ten days and I just find out now? Thats a load of crap. I let them know that taking ten days was not acceptable especially who knows how long this would have lasted if I han't inquired about this. I let them know that I hope they left that seller bad feedback but of course I never heard back from them. No I have no idea who is at fault here, but Japamart would not have sent me the bill if the seller hadn't sent them the bill, so when did the cancellation take place? All I know is it looks like I got screwed out of it. Anyway,
I don't want to bore you with my ills so here are the items I did receive. The only thigs left that I need from Japan now is one hard to get blue suspension bridge and two certain colored Expo coaches. As far as anything Trackmaster is concerned, there is only one certain coach (x3) that I am looking for but those probably will only be available in the UK or USA Ebays.
