Very nice looking. I can picture a couple more green cars connected to it. Do they make a regular series without the retractable hook? Is it a retractable hook or does it fold back? I find it pretty neat that Tomy was in a partnership with the railways and produced replica trains and only sold them at the stations that the real trains ran from.

I want to install front couplers on my EF6019s There is a hook holder, but i would need to trim the body Sad

I noticed that all my EF6019's have a place for a front hook in the chassis but they aren't exactly centered for some reason and like you say, have no slot for it in the engine body. They do make EF6019's with front couplers as I have seen many on the auctions in Japan but I don't know which sets they were in. They must have a hook that is off set some what. If I see another one I check to see what it came with.
oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Here is a picture of what they are calling EF63's As you can see the engine on the left has an offset coupling hook in front. The other one seems to have a centered hook with the hole like a hook for a powered tender. I imagine this was a 5 unit set with the green Asama train. I also believe that the second EF63 has sound.
