Tomy Tokyo Disney Resort - Mickey Mouse & Donald Duck (talking) Trains first run.

When these first came out I was thinking it may be nice to have but the prices seemed to be around $50+.  When I found this one NIB for 1200¥, I had to have it.  That said, I had no idea that these had sound.  As some may know I am a big fan of the talking Japanese trains (TnA, Subway, and even the stations) so this was a nice surprise.  I am not entirely sold on the look, but do the price it was a great bargain.  I had to try and find the Donald one, which I somehow managed to find for $2400¥ NIB, it is currently at the FromJapan warehouses.

I had no idea either that this had sound. To my ear, its strange to hear Mickey Mouse speak anything but English. Sounds just like Mickeys voice though.

omg, that is awesome! i didnt know about the sound either, or the movements of the key and gears. cant wait to see what the donald does.

i think theres a monsters inc one as well.

The Donald Duck train arrived the other day.  Here is a quick video of him running.

That is so cool. Is Donald speaking English? Was there something that went into that clear spot in the rear car? This Donald is much better than the Dream Railway version, IMO. Do you have a picture of the box....I want one

Not sure on the language, sounds a little of both :-)

They have a few of these on eBay but I would go for the Japan auctions. They seem to be found at at least half price.  The trailing car is a bit odd to me as the top falls off of th car, nothing to keep it on for some reason.  It does look like something should go in there but nothing is included.

Thats very odd about that last car. Looks like a perfect place for a Donald or Daisy Duck figure. With the way Donald talks maybe he could be speaking any language and sound the same haha. I must have one.
