You get what you pay for as its most likely from the same Chinese manufacturer that has sold under many a name.

This is true, it does seem very familiar, the only main difference I noticed with this offering is that it has the new Trackmaster 2 style tracks with the roadbed, but moulded in BPT colour. I suppose if you wanted to mix some TM2 track into an existing BPT layout this could be a way of doing it without having to resort to the rubbish beige track that FP puts out? Especially as this is really cheap, the loco/wagon etc... could almost just be considered extras Smile

Thats not Trackmaster II track, those are copied after the original Trackmaster tan track.
I stand corrected lol! I've really no serious interest in the Trackmaster stuff (aka the current FP range) as the quality and detail sucks so badly I can't bring myself to even touch it let alone buy it Big Grin

I wouldn't consider this as a knockoff but rather a custom modification as it is branded as Tomy under the chassis. Not a bad idea and done nicely. Must have taken quite a while to mask off all the trim before painting it blue.
