WOW!!!! I just sent the seller a message asking him what makes it so rare? Evidently I’m missing something as well.

There is something weird about all the bidding including the Automatic bids.
The Listing started at $22.50 if you follow the bids you will see that at $47 that the bid is only $1 higher than the previous bid when it was made after. I believe at that amount the bids have to be a minimum of $5. Then the next bid is $999 ??? How did it jump from $47 to $999 without showing any Bids or Automatic Bids...this isn't a Auction House. If someone wanted to bid $999 it would only show as $52 in the Listing until someone bid higher than that. There is something strange and mighty fishy about this.

That is the dumbest listing with activity that I've ever seen...unless it speaks a foreign language other than English or Japanese, there is NO WAY anyone would pay $1000 for a standard Gordon.
Play nice & have fun!!Smile
LOL...especially since the same Seller has a Listing for a new in box Gordon with green express coach for starting at $135 with no bids or Buy It Now at $188 https://www.ebay.com/itm/Trackmaster-Mot...SwqbxZ~F8M

This is too weird. LOL

What a crock of baloney! I don't know what kinda scam they're pulling, (maybe it will magically get lost in the mail, and they'll collect the $1000. from USPS or Paypal) but whatever it is its shady.
Play nice & have fun!!Smile

hahaha...I got a good chuckle with that response Bkvir. I agree something is askew especially with that jump in price. I actually don't know how that can actually happen seeing as its not the way bidding works on Ebay and if it is a scam with USPS they are playing with fire as wouldn't that be considered mail fraud if caught which is a Federal offense?

I wonder if return is allowed. On top of the $1000, the buyers has to pay about $200 import duty
