What makes this one so Rare? Anyone have this one? EF65 1042

I have only seen this one a handful of times and it always seems to be crazy high in price. Does anyone have this one in their collection or know why it may be so rare?

This EF65 was released as part of one of the special edition 3 train packs. Like most of the limited 3 train pack sets (not all) there always was included at least one train or engine that was only made exclusively for that set. In this case it was this special colored freight engine. These individual exclusive trains or engines always seem to demand the high prices with the set and as individuals. Some higher than others.
