Triang Hornby Class 35 Hymek Diesel

A classic locomotive and in fact very similar to the very first model train I ever owned as a kid (a Lima Class 33). This one is a bit dusty, but its complete and as I only paid less than $20 for it I'm a happy bunny Smile

Boy, you have been on a roll lately Nigels. The dusty makes it look weathered...I like it.

Funny you should say that as I was thinking the same thing, doubly so with the slightly rusty connectors at each end. Maybe I'll leave her as she is Smile

You mean like THIS?

Hornby actually did this in (I think) 2004, and it lasted until (again, I think) 2007.
Collecting without a clue since 2010

That's a pretty good use of an old set of model tooling, the one I got (R758) was sold by Triang/Hornby 1967 and 1976 in that blue livery, so no wonder my example is a bit dusty/weathered lol!
