Rosy Cheeks Thomas

I know we have talked about this at least once in the past but I can't remember what set this Rosy Cheeked, Upset Thomas came in. If I remember correctly wasn't it in only one set and hard to find?

I believe it's in the Thomas and Bertie Rainbow Bridge Set.

Thanks Star

So is it accurate to say that this is the only set the Rosy Cheeked Thomas comes in and this is the only Thomas with cheeks like these no matter who the manufacturer is?

No Super there are a few versions.
I'll post all the blushing/Rosey faced Thomas variations...

There are actually 5 versions of Thomas with rosey cheeks...3 made by Tomy, and 2 made by FisherPrice.

One of the last pre-Revoulution Thomas sets ever made, the 2012 Deluxe Signal starter set has a face very similar to the one in the Rainbow Bridge set, but has an unpainted red deck.

The other FisherPrice variation is from the Slippy Sodor Greatest Moments release, but not all the faces received the splash of color to the cheeks though, as I have seen many that are bnib with a standard plain face.

These 2 from Tomy:

The one on the left is the one that you posted from the Bertie Rainbow Bridge set, and the one on the right "Blushing face Thomas" was a special promotional limited edition model of which only 360 were produced.
AND also the new 2017 Plarail Real Steam Thomas has rosey cheeks.
Play nice & have fun!!Smile

I like the 2 from Tomy the best (of course). The red cheeks seem to 'pop' a bit more. Maybe its the fact that they have white boiler plates that brings out the red where the others with the red deck seems to mute (lighten) the red cheeks. Many thanks Muddy. Smile
