plakids town

I almost forgot about these destination pieces. until some landed in my lap.

i'm referring to sir topham hatt office, conductor house and mail office.

i first discovered these in england. but can't remember the packaging. it was a longggg time ago.

does anyone know if any of these were released in english? motor road and rail perhaps? or are they strictly assigned to japan?

I thought that maybe it was those buildings you were talking about. I am not an expert on all releases but from what I have experienced is that these were only a Japanese release as I have only seen them listed in Japan. I am not aware that these talk (right?) or that they have much Japanese signage on them so what you are asking is if there are boxes whos graphics are in English?

yes that is correct.
i first learned about these houses in england.
just can't remember the boxes. if they were in english or japanese.

way to long ago to remember as these came out quite some time ago. early 2000's i believe

i'm pretty psyched to get these. they are very detailed. they add a nice flare to layouts. hopefully, when i'm more mobile, i will do a layout with them

In addition to the ones you have pictured there is also one of these buildings included in the rare Plakids Town Emily Set. Do you also have the Conductors House? There is also (at least) one more building like these that have a gray piece of track instead of blue but I am not sure what set that came with or it came by itself. I know this because I have been after one due to the fact that my Layouts include all gray Tomy track.
