I ordered a new plarail James from amazon on October 30, and the expected arrival was November 15-November 27. I was a bit worried, but still thought it would arrive in due time.
1 month later, and absolutely nothing other than the notion that it had been shipped. Amazon suggests that I should contact the seller, but is it a bit too early for that? I really hope I'm still going to get my James. Hopefully he didn't go to someone else's home!

Of course you should contact them. Where does the tracking number say it is?
A tracking number wasn't given since it's international shipping

Go ahead and contact the seller. It’s a formality since Amazon will usually refund your money for lost items but they still like for you to check with the seller first.
No Tracking Number is usually a result in taking the Free shipping which in order for the overseas sellers to make any money they (literally) use the Slow Boat from China service. It is better to use a step up from the slow boat and pay a little extra to get a number and a bit more faster service although still slow. But that isn't always available on Amazon and if it is its way too expensive.. I tend not to buy from overseas sellers on Amazon unless its fulfilled by Amazon and Prime. I have better luck with prices and shipping using our favorite overseas sellers on Ebay. But OTR is right, you will get your money back from Amazon easily.
Oh boy, I just realized I ordered from a horrible japan seller. Most people said their items arrived in a few MONTHS, and the seller wouldn't answer any messages. I guess this shows me to look at the recent feedback, not the overall percentage.

Maybe he's coming under his own power!
But seriously, that shipping time is just not acceptable, even from Japan. Hope it arrives after all this!
Collecting without a clue since 2010
Hopefully Pop doesn't have to wait that long because he bought it from an Amazon seller. I am currently in a similar bind buying a Plarail TS-07 Hiro from a seller (from Japan) I hadn't bought from before. Both the Seller and Ebay say delivery in 10 to 35 days and since I didn't need it right away (future custom) I went for the cheapest one I could find. I figured that since most all the other sellers I buy from in China like Frederickwong and Japan like Tokyo-Hobby always arrive within 10 to 20 days I would have no problem if it took 3 weeks. Today is the 36th day since I ordered and if it doesn't come by Saturday (even though is still don't need it now) I will contact the seller and then Ebay for a refund. I did contact the seller a few days ago just to update them that the item hadn't arrived yet because they would have no idea if the package was delivered or not since there is no tracking number. They did respond which was good only to say that is why they are the cheapest price, they ship cheapest with no tracking. When sellers have no proof that a buyer receives the package they leave themselves wide open for buyers to just say they didn't receive the package and get a refund.
Guess who just came in the mail today!
