Thanks and farewell.

My son decided to go to HO scale railroading and the bedroom where I had experimented with my own layout is now the crafting/LEGO room, leaving us only enough space for one train layout. So, I divided up my Plarail up and had enough to give pretty big collections to three of our friends with young kids.

I'm saving the modern trains and some track with the hope of integrating it into my LEGO-game-figure (close to HO) size LEGO work. The Plarail bridges and a few scenic accessories will also be painted/converted and added to the HO layout.

So this is farewell. Thanks for the assistance and inspiration you folks gave. It enriched our time with Plarail and I think it definitely helped lay the groundwork for my son's interest in scale-model railroading.

Lastly, I've got some extras, leftovers and junk parts for sale cheaply here if anyone is interested. https://www.blueplastictracks.com/showth...p?tid=2837

Goodbye and happy Pla-Rail-Roading!
Sincerely,
Karl

Glad to have had you on board Eilif and sorry to see you go but it is the natural evolution of this hobby with the children and Grandchildren moving on to other interests. There is always hope that later on when your children have children and your grandchildren that you will come back. It has been a pleasure and best of luck to you.
