for taking photos. try shooting the object at a 45 degree angle so that you can see the front and the side. If possible shot it from above. like the photo below.

Does anyone know what settings, if any, I could look into on my camera as all my color reds in my videos become washed out orangey looking.
perhaps you can add some light in the background.

maybe white balance (WB), it sounds like a lighting issue though maybe too much yellowish light.

Do my videos look dark? Wonder why its only the red that is off. I will look into the white balance and lighting. Originally the Layout room had all Florescent Daylight bulbs for the earlier videos and I have since switched them all out with Daylight LED bulbs. The reds look the same in all the videos that why I assumed that it had to be in the Camcorder as thats the only constant.
