Does anyone know if there is a non-clear (assuminly less rare) version like this with sound?
Yes, its the Silver Swallow Set and the sound is awesome. I can't seem to locate a box image.
Oh wow. Yes that does sound very good. Ok that is next on the want (need to have/might as well) list.

What does the box look like for these? I am not finding much searching for Plarail silver swallow set. I did a few more searches and found this tread: https://www.blueplastictracks.com/showth...hp?tid=164 And I believe this is the set: (?)
Yes, thats the set Ripley, notice the mis-spelling?
Quote:Real Sound Steem Locomotive C62 Dobble Impact If you think one sounds awesome, try running it with 2 sound engines in a back to back to back configuration its great.
I cycled though all of the listings in “sets” on Jauce and nothing so far, but I am in the hunt now. . I would not mind them to be loose either but the box would be nice to have too.

These clear ones should be awesome. I hope Muddy and Bkvir get them. Also curious if this is the only Steam Tandem set? I see these in bulk lots from time to time but want to ensure if I go after it, it is the sound version.
The Silver Swallow Set is the only Tandem C62's I am aware of, well except for the clear one shown here. If fact, I think it may be the only Plarail Steam Tandems made but I could be wrong. There are the old style C12's with a front hook that come in the Snow Blower Sets but they were not Tandems.
Wow..the price shot up there for these. Did you guys win them Muddy/BKvir?
Wow, it sure did, then it had to be quite rare.
Making Customs, Filming Videos and looking for the purest engines. That's how I roll here on Blue Plastic Tracks.
