The Latest & Final Package arrived today.
Miscellaneous stuff..
I have been amassing many parts, items and trains for the many customs and modifications I have in my head for the long cold winter ahead. These C-57's, the 135 and 180, are part of that. Personally I like the C57-135 (red side rods) because to me the cab looks better.
I am always surprised to see how well built the Plarail Gararge/Cases are and how long they will last. Something seldom seen anymore in this world of build em cheaper not better.
All the packages of new/old stock was quite a surprise. I always liked the way the original girder bridge looked like but after long deliberations, with myself, decided not to pursue one because of their age and possible brittleness. When I saw this one new in its package with a picture of it and the new red, crossing for a low opening bid, I placed that bid knowing that for sure it wouldn't last because all the others went for a lot more. To my surprise, on the day the auction ended, I received an Email say I won it for that low price. Wow, I logged in the check it out again and discovered that I missed all the other pictures showing all this other new/old stock packages came with it...double shock. Note to Sellers: Its beneficial to have your main picture show everything in your Listing to drive more views. Got to go and set that bridge up.
