Lets start in the back...a new in opened box Disney's Character Parade Set. I had always thought this train looked unique but never pursued it until now. On a separate circuit he plays the Mickey Mouse Club song. “But Super, we see another Character Parade Train in the picture” I hear you say. Yes, this was a case, which has happened to me before, I finally saw the train offered and even though it wasn't in its box as a set I went ahead and bought it because I hadn't seen one listed in quite a while. Well, a few hours after buying that one, this boxed one appeared and I had to grab it. Of course the loose one will be sold off I hope.

Another Disney special set, Toy Story Mania, new in sealed box, was something I thought to be cool but I didn't pursue it because I didn't like the fact that the side stickers on the trolley cars didn't blend in well. After a long discussion, in my head, I had to talk myself into this one. It is a pretty set.

Two sloped Road Tracks light gray, that I needed since I kept the light gray ones from the last delivery.

In the foreground you see a motorized bus that I had been after for some time. The bus was exclusive to the Marine Liner set with the large orange suspension bridge. I had not seen the bus listed by itself and I didn't want to buy the whole set because they were going for too much.

27 Pokemon Pocket Monsters, more on these little guys later.

Purchased the Lot of Chuggington cars just to get the one hazardous waste barrel car to finish our rule of 4 in our collection.

The track pieces I am keeping are the 4 rare male to male, direct couplers and probably 4 special turntable tracks with the unique couplers even though I have lots of them now.

Needed another white express coach with blue roof to replace a little less than perfect one we have now and I may keep the white baggage car and take a shot at removing the graphics on it too and add it to the set of four coaches.

Thats pretty much all I am keeping out of all this except I think I may keep the 2 white trees for the white Xmas display. The rest will be sold off.

And that wraps up what is the last box of stuff from Japan ever...sad but true....er....well...except for the package that is gathering over there right now......THAT....will be the last package ever.....

Excellent scores... Big Grin. That ToyStory set was one I had been tossing around the idea of getting as well, but it was one that seemed to be available when I didn't need it or not there when I needed it.. go figure.

Will you add parts of this in to your Disney Layout?
But Super... What about the Pokemon... You never mentioned them again. I was curious about them. (Pokemon is my other main hobby. :3)

I know nothing about Pokemons but I did want to find a few of the Pocket Monsters to fill out a couple of the Pokemon Plarail trains we have. I didn't know what to look for or have any idea of how much these things were so I ventured into the Pokemon section (not Plarail) on the Japan Auctions and to my good fortune, while I was there browsing around a new listing popped up with this set 27 for ....280yen and Buy It Now. I figured at less that $2.80 I couldn't go wrong and I didn't have to be bidding against anybody. It wasn't until after I bought this Lot that I checked more listings out and found some of them were going for a lot more money.

To give you an idea of how I know nothing about Pokemon, it wasn't until I was looking at these when they arrived did I see that they all have a Nintendo trademark on them so I am assuming that Pokemon must have been a Nintendo Game...right? I just thought he was some Saturday morning cartoon show on TV, shows you how much I know.

These must be collector pieces and I realize that as such there must be some that are more desirable than others. Does anyone know if there are any in this Lot that may be special? In addition to the Nintendo trademarks on all of them there is a Bandai who I think must make them. Anyone out there have any information on the Pokemon Pocket Monsters?

I know that my daughter is a big fan of Pokémon, I know who Pikachu and Ash are and I what it means when you "Liek Mudkips".

Even though I was a pretty big anime otaku back in the day, I never had more than a vaguely general awareness of it.

For as big of a fan of Pokemon I am... Even I couldn't tell you what the figures are worth. This is due to there being 100's (no joke) of variations of Pokemon figures (most characters) in Japan and even around the world. The Pokemon series is made by "The Pokemon Company", which is owned by "Game Freak", "Creatures", and "Nintendo". What I can tell you, is these figures are based around the Generation 5 games/series, and therefore not from the era of any of the Pokemon Plarail sets I know about about, (The Battle Coaster (Generation 3), The Pichu Bothers Train (Generation 3), and the Pokemon trains ver 1 (Generation 1) with playset and ver 2 (Generation 2) which I don't think has a playset. However, I do not own any of these sets yet.) Sorry that I can't be much more use than that.

I should also add, a few of the Pokemon you show are from the previous generations, however due to the style, I assume they are from the same set/ released at the same time as the lot you've shown.

What I had thought was that these 2 Plarail Pokemon sets included the Pocket Monsters like the ones in the Lot I bought.

They may possibly work in those. They are the Pokemon trains ver 1 & 2. I didn't know ver 2 had a set. Neat.
