Those Wedge tracks give me Wooden Railway vibes, perhaps tracks were linked by "Islands" to make up for, say, a lack of straight track. Then again, what would the points be for?

While snooping around for other stuff I came across this from 1998 which shows that these tracks did come out for the Tomy Wooden Trains and also non-motorized plastic trains.

For those who have a lot of wooden trains, I wonder can you tell who made them? Is there a makers mark or something on them?
I used to have Imaginarium trains, I believe there is a code between the pair of trucks.

Wonder if Tomy did the same.
