Interesting Cross Piece Draw Bridge

This is an Interesting Cross Piece Draw Bridge I don't recall seeing before. Doesn't prevent the chance of a crash but would work cool in a loop or with the use of automatic switch points. What do you think? Seen it before? Know what set its from or maybe it was sold by itself?

No clue, but guessing that it could be for a figure 8 train track.
Train goes over the bridge first, then through under the lifted bridge.

I got nothing... lol Happy Saturday! Big Grin

Thank you Bitelet

Because of your help I could do a little more digging. I couldn't come up with the exact years this item was available but I did find some info that is confusing as this must have been released under two different Logos. The particular design and Red Tomy Logo of the tag pictured started about 1985 and was used for about 15 years. Your last photo shows us a close up where we can see the old Tomy Logo with the boy and girl was molded into the underside. This Logo ran from 1967 thru 1981 so if we are to guess with this info the drawbridge must have been created between those years and later the packaging was update with the Red Tomy and Plarail Logos on it but they didn't bother to change the one under the item.
