I grabbed these off of eBay, I do not know a whole lot about them, they seem to be an older release and with the boxes included, it was a perfect case of "Might As Well"!!!

Wow and all New. I don't recognize the boxes but that probably due to them being released from the Tomy America Inc. Nice find.
I am in love with the old style Thomas merchandise boxes especially with the old wooden railway and ertl stuff. I he never seen it on tomy Thomas boxes nor have I ever seen starter packs with trains other than Thomas, amazing find
They look very similar to the very old Hornby train sets you sometimes see around in terms of the cover design
Happily collecting things all my life...
The boxes also are similar to the Thomas Ertl trains as initially thats what I thought these were..

Some of the tape had failed on a couple boxes, so I took a peek inside. The others will remain "new in the box". Here's a few pictures I took.
