Etienne MIA??

Just received a notice from Amazon saying that they are unable to fill our order and have cancelled our Ettiene preorder due to the products "unavailability"!?!?
They also suggested that we look to the manufacturer if we are still interested in purchasing it..:/
What is going on? Will we actually see him released, or will they all be shipped off to France?

Thats strange. I wouldn't think Amazon would remove a listing unless the manufacturer told them to cancel it. Maybe they aren't going to release him/her and already any that were made are collectors items even if they are Trackmaster II. Interested in hearing more.

I hope Fisher Price hasn't canceled it but aside from that or a significant production delay, I'm not what else it could be.

Just a recent update but I think this might be another plot of Mattel trying to make you not 'collect them all' and making it not available to America, UK, Australia etc and instead releasing it to a remote country. On YouTube ToyTrainsThings uploaded a video of him unboxing it on his channel. In the comments he said he got it from a local toy shop in POLAND. Maybe it could be exactly like monty and if it was like monty, it would be extremely hard to acquire Etienne. Maybe this is why your order muddy and many other collectors was cancelled on amazon, so Fisher Price can destroy the dream of 'collecting them all'
