Why does this keep happening...packages showing up at my door...will it ever stop???...Oh the Humanity!!!

I know what you are saying...."Super...didn't you just buy the Snoopy Flying Ace items used just a couple of packages ago"? Well, yes I did, I wish that this seller had started listing these new in the box ones a few weeks earlier. You see I paid 1100yen for the used ones which I thought was a good deal at the time. It only included Snoopy and his plane, the Woodstock family rocking wagon and Snoopy atop his dog house not the whole set. Then this seller listed a whole bunch of these new in their box for only 1080yen, yes thats right, less than I paid for the used items and around 60% less than other new in the box sets I have seen. I had to snatch it up for a possible entry into the Future World Collection. But it may not make the cut as I have been knocking around the idea of a Future World Disney Collection Big Grin

There are 3 Chuggington items I thought to be interesting...well at least one of the items and it didn't cost very much. A Tunnel/Shed, Platform and a different type of drawbridge that looked interesting and somewhat realistic with its arched girder steel beams however I didn't realize that they are larger than the typical Plarail buildings and accessories so I am not sure about keeping them.

Anyone know what set or where the teal barrel cargo loads come from and just how many variations of these barrels are there? I now have these teal ones, the common dark grey and the white, paint barrels. I think but not sure, there are blue ones but are there any more?

You can never have too many Olivers or his coaches Cool

The Hybrid HD300 is for a little custom front hook addition to run in tandem with the one I have with headlight which should be pretty easy to doing and look professional, at least in my mind it is. Smile

The DD51's are for custom work.

Some of the various rolling stock I am keeping and what is left will be made available in a large Lot on Ebay as I am amassing quite a few that I don't need.

I am sorry to say that this is the last package ever, as I have everything and there is nothing I want or need....nothing I want or need....nothing.... Angel

IIRC, the teal barrels and the brown and silver stake side gondola they're in are both from the current "base model" Hiro.

And more DD51s are always good! Although I'm mostly in a steam power phase right now, I like to have some stashed away to represent the transitional era on my railway. The blue/gray Sodor Mining hopper is another favorite of mine. Nice haul again this round!

Thanks OTR, I looked up that Hiro, very nice set. http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10187596
Another Oliver, and TWO DD51's? Perhaps you could make one of them advertising, like what US railroads did with boxcars in the fifties. Wait, this is the end? After many years, you collection is complete? Lastly, why do I find your satisfaction depressing?

Well, you're satisfied, that's all that matters. When you (if you ever, in which you probably won't) decide to get rid of them, you'll have enough money for, well, a real train!
Super's grandkids are probably going to get TOMY trains passed down to them!
