I am really excited to receive this Limited Edition 65th Anniversary Set with the Rare Thomas, white Mr Topham Hatt and especially the Old Slow Coach. This was not on my radar until I received the Old Slow Coach and other cars (minus Thomas) in a used Bulk Purchase and it got me thinking. I am after the Limited Edition sets that are unusual and the inclusion of the Old Slow Coach sold me on this. Is this not the only set to have her? This new in the box is a perfect addition to the 'Future World Collection'. The collection has filled one huge storage container so now I am filling up a second huge one. This set is beautiful. Smile

There's only one Old Slow Coach and that's the item with it. The other items with decorations I believe are unique too.

One of my favorite sets ever! And I should point out Old slow coach is a female which was pointed out to me hundreds of times in the comments of my review hehe.

I would have never known that until one of the discussions recently here at BPT. As a gentleman, one would never associate a title of a woman as 'Old' or 'Slow' at least around these parts. Undecided

If you don't mind me asking Super, what exactly IS the Future World Collection? Is it a side-collection different from the main Plarail one with just new in box items or..? I'd love to know! Big Grin

Well in short...I was not into the Thomas and Friends trains and just collected the Plarail real type models. I only bought Thomas and Friends trains to deface and customize so you wouldn't recognize the character. Well that is until I was running out of the Plarail real type trains to buy and was going through withdrawals so I had to create something to feed my addiction to buy. There are many threads that I talk about the Future World Collection but can't find them all.
