(LEGO) What did you build today?

Today we completed a decent attempt at The Great Pyramid of Giza...
Didn't have the triangular corner pieces for the upper non-eroded casing sides at the top, but it was still a fun build.Smile

great pyramid!! is it hollow or completely filled with bricks?

i "built" an order on bricklink... does that count? Wink lots of odds and ends for the christmas scene, and hopefully the makings of a large ice pond for the nexo knights to play ice hockey on.

I have heard that that is the first symptom of L-ego-itist...world domination. In this case its the world domination of owning every F-Unit ever made by Tomica.

Is that a picture of Evan in your newly remodeled basement Mr World Dominator ...er...AC?

Over one million Lego bricks went into to the construction of The Great Pyramid...
An estimated 40,000 workers labored 40 years interlocking each piece into place...
...Lol, no it's hollow, but I have an idea that will make it much better...still playing around with it in my head though.

We've always played with Legos...Tully likes to build sets (mostly Star Wars, Super heros, and Lego Movie,), but I have been free building since I was 7 years old. Legos were one of my number one pastimes as a little kid. I lost half of my original 40 year old school Legos along the way in life, so when Tully began to play with them I pulled out all my old nicotine stained 70's 5 gallon bucket full for him too. Then along with eBay becoming such an integral part of our train collecting, bought him an enormous mixed lot of used Lego...AND IT RUINED IT! We have so many pieces it is midboggling for me...so many endless possibilities of shapes and unique pieces that it was impossible to decide what to build or what pieces to use...Sad
The bin has sat for 2 years, but we finally just recently sorted it all by color and slightly inventoried it all in the process!! It's also been raining here for nearly 2 months, so we've begun building a few things... Well be posting more soon.Smile

Hhhhmmm, what have I built today? Well so far an A-Wing fighter, Vader's TIE fighter and a Naboo Flash Speeder - you just got to love the Lego shop sales Big Grin

Couple of days back it was the Emerald Night - just need to add the motor and other functions to it and it will be complete!! Smile

Next on the list? Not sure got a few kits to choose from as well as some build my own ideas on the go...
Happily collecting things all my life... Big Grin
