A Few Keepers Today

Received a bunch of stuff today and here is a picture of what I am keeping.

You can't really see it in the picture but those coaches are dark purple and came together only in one of the two releases of the Plarail C-11 sets. This fits in nicely with our ever growing collection of Express coaches.

Also picked up 2 more Explosive Cars to go along with the one we received recently.

I still haven't found where these black container flatbeds come from but you just don't see them that much but I like them. With these six we now have 10. All their wheels have been swapped for these grey as they only come with red or yellow.

All of the white couplings have been swapped out for my favorite black ones....all except for those darned Explosive cars that Trackmaster made nearly impenetrable. If anyone knows the way to get these apart without damaging them Please let me know as I would love to swap out those wheels and couplings.

I had wondered about those purple passenger coaches. I see them very occasionally on Yahoo Japan but I never could tell if they were really purple or just the normal blue or brown versions with odd lighting. Good to know I wasn't just imagining things!

I know what you mean about colors and the Auctions in Japan. In this case you will know you have the right one if (they are in pairs) the one coach has this gold emblem on its rear.
