Great work jay, I'm a big fan of the old engines, they are nostalgic to me as they are what I used to play with when I was younger, you've got a nice collection, I'm particularly jealous of your 7105 it's an engine I've always wanted to own!
Recent stuff I got, recently...

It's pretty much the same on both sides, but I'll see what I can do. I haven't tried it yet.
Well, here it is! Got it last night!
Here are some shots of it on a little layout I set up for my TOMY and Trackmaster trains:
That D-51 is a beauty and one of the first steamers we ever got. Yours does have a working headlight right?
I haven't run it yet, but looks like it does...[/align]
That D51 is a great engine; easily one of my favorites!
Last week, I went to Toys R Us, and was rather disappointed with the diminishing selection of Take and Plays, I may have to resort to ebay for Yong Bao! But there was one Adventures model that I did want. I don't yet have the coupler adapter, though, but here is what I got...
And today I got my ebay purchase I made, like, a month ago (customs are a desk, ain't they?)! But only $22.13 and free shipping, so can't complain! Here it is with the Trackmaster Gordon I had... Quite an improvement, I think! The added leading and trailing wheel details are a nice touch, and the Express coach is nice, too!
Excellent Jay
That new Gordon is great especially the new style side rods. |
