A big package arrived today, Hurray!

I don't want to bore you with pictures of everything as two thirds of the haul I didn't want but came with items I did want. Those will be sold as I am only keeping whats in the picture.

On top, is a new, in the box Plarail Meitetsu 7000 series panorama car. I already have a used one in pretty good condition but I couldn't turn down a fair price. Doesn't everybody like new over used? Might As Well!

Two more Grey Tanker sets. More is better, right? Might As Well!

Three, Rare, Black Hopper Cars. Have a three more ready for the next delivery. One can never have too many, right? Might As Well!

Another 50th Anniversary C-12 Brown Arched Bridge Set. Grabbed this set for the same low price as the last one but this one included the train with its 3 exclusive cars. One Brown Bridge is good, two Brown Bridges is better. Might As Well!

Two, Hard to find, Dark grey tipping wagons. Two more one their way. Four more in the door. Might As Well!

Ten more Pine Trees. These really look good within the layout, at least I think so and they aren't that expensive. A forest starts with one tree...I like forests. Might As Well!

Oh..saved the best for last...I have finally snagged what I consider to be one of the three rarest bridges, the White Arched Bridge. I have been after one of these ever since I first layed eyes on one. I now have two of those three rarest and if you include the brown arched bridge that came with the set above, I believe I now have 3 of the top 4 unique bridges. Finally nabbing something you have been after for years.....Priceless. Might As Well!

Excellent score Super. Will you be posting a general picture of the other items in the trading zone? Would love to see what you received. Big Grin

There is a lot of track pieces which I probably won't Post but I may just do that with the other stuff once I receive the other Bulk purchases.

Nice haul there Super, do I detect a bit of a 'bridge fetish' in your makeup? Don't get me wrong, I got nothing against a fetish, its the sort of thing that makes the world go around. But its the first time I seen someone who gets off on bridges, about the nearest comparison is Arnold Rimmer's obsession with telegraph poles Smile

BTW - If you ever snag any PlaRail Advance you don't want among these job lots you buy to get a bridge or a wagon (or who knows maybe a telegraph pole Smile) ping me a PM as I would likely be interested Smile

You know "might as well" Smile

Have to say I do like those carriages with the C12, any chance of a closer up image of them? Just out of curiousity though, why does the set have the odd white wagon/van with it? Seems remarkably out of place whereas most Japanese trains tend to be very uniform in colour schemes etc... Smile

Oh My...a "Bridge Fetish"? I must schedule an emergency session with my analyst.
I do like railroad bridges and since the first time I saw the Plarail long red girder bridges I searched for all the options and different looks from those common, basic, 8" two piece red side bridges that are so prevalent in Plarail layouts. Come to think of it, Trackmaster really doesn't have much in the way of bridges. Not only does Plarail have many styles of bridges they have different colors in some of those types.

I will keep you in mind Nigels, for any Plarail Advance that may come my way. Any that I have had over these last few years I sold on Ebay. Here in the States though, the Advance line is not very popular at all.

They really did a great job with the high details on all three of the box cars for this special 50th Anniversary Release. The details spread all around the units including the front and rears. All these units are only available with this set, at least that is what I have uncovered. The last car design with the PlaKid can be found in red included in a retail Plarail Freight Set this is the only one done in black. I showed a picture of the rear of the box as I normally remove all stickers and you can see what they originally said. I have read that the white one is a Refrigeration Car and I am proud to have 5 of them now. I have tried to research the number 5000 that is on its sticker but to possibly locate info on a real one but come up empty. Maybe someone can translate what it says above the number or have more info on a real one that this was modeled after. I love them because they are different than any other ones you find and I like unusual.

Thats interesting to know Super, I had seen something somewhere that hinted the 'refrigeration' car was a baggage car, but it just still seems odd to have a white car among all the dark coloured ones. Not that I dislike it, just that it seems a little chaotic for the generally organised japanese Smile

I thought you wanted to get rid of an extra boxcar from the Plarail 50th set, not get a whole new one! Anyways great haul! Now I need a Plarail 50th set… (Looks in wallet, tumbleweed rolls across the gap of no money.)
I AM NOT DEAD. Just inactive.
