layout query... should i or shouldnt i?

I don't have any of the 9v stuff, but I do have several sets of the more modern gear thanks to several train sets I bought a few years back, so I can always rob the bits from another set temporarily.

I wonder if I could do anything to motorise the Yellow Submarine I recently got? Maybe rotating propellors and/or periscopes

that would be neat!! youd have to be pretty clever with technic builds to make that happen, but i dont see why it couldnt be done. well beyond my brain though. i can only picture building the gearing first and then creating the submarine around it.

i have decided to shoehorn a circle of tomy track onto the second table, because i want desperately to show off the trains i got from geris.
