That sure took o while from when it was released. I am surprised it took so long.
I think it's because it is SO AWESOME that even the most hardened profiteering seller would pause for a moment to admire its beauty and to reconsider their decision to even sell it!?!? Lol
Play nice & have fun!!

Seeing how quickly it sold out I'm suspecting maybe ToysRUs didn't realise it would be so popular and didn't get enough made. May have caught the touts out a bit for once as it wasn't in a PlaRail store or similar Mind you bearing in mind the possibility there is always the chance they'll be a second wave. I've seen for example 'limited edition' Skylanders in the UK TRU stores which sold out and then months later the wall was covered with them...

It will be a future highly sought after set
These trains are rediculous!!
Honestly, I cannot think of many releases that are in the same caliber as these two!! Maybe, Lost and Found Hiro, or Plarail Talking Henry are equal in shear quality, feel, appointments, and overall look of craftsmanship, but they are both tendered, and gimmicky talking models...THESE are the nicest straight single engines (James is untendered) that Plarail, OR ANY OTHER (HitToys/Fisher Price) has ever made!! EVER. HANDS DOWN!! Just sick. To think that they come together is just crazy!! I can't even say one is nicer than the other either...Thomas is just absolutely beautiful, but James' black finish is stunning, so clean, with unbelievably crisp, sharp lines and detailing on them both. I have been staring at them for almost two days now, looking and thinking, thinking and looking, sleeping with the box under my pillow (haha just kidding), just waiting to open it with Tully when he comes back home tomorrow!!
Play nice & have fun!!
in case anybody wants to get this set. I found one for sale on ebay.
