Powerful "Angry" Gordon - signs other than face?

Curious...Did the seller list this as a Powerful Gordon? And great grab on all the Express Coaches...I love Express Coaches in all color the variations.

Nope, it basically said, "pla vehicle set" which was not very helpful.

Regarding the coaches, yeah I really could not pass them up. 300¥ for all 9 was a no brainer. Big Grin

Is the second Gordon listed in this pic the boxed "Powerful Gordon" or just a different one? Just was currious, this lot is over ¥30,000 now, but wanted to see what the box was in case I see it again.

Since it has the TV model with his cross face on the box, it would probably have to be that. Then again, they did show several other engines wearing different looking faces to what the toys inside had. But how could anyone expect a normal expression when the box has that unsettling image over it?

I don't think I have ever seen a box for the Powerful Gordon before so this will be interesting for me to find out for sure also. The seller states that these were kept in storage for 10 years and since the Gordon you speak of has a different box style than all the rest might indicate that it is something special. Curious as to how high this will go since there are a couple other nice trains in the Lot.

Maybe someone who can translate Japanese can help with what the box says here...

Oh...wow, you're right! And he comes with a red Express Coach, which may be a yellow stripe, and not a green Express Coach.

Muddy, the seller that has this lot with PG has some other nice items up for auction too, including James which looks to be from the same range, not sure why they separated him out though.
