Tomica GOGO highway Set

This is something pretty cool that I don't think I have seen before. The Tomica GOGO highway. Am I correct in thinking that under the red roof is a motor that will shoot the cars around the roadway? Its cool that the roadway is meant to sit atop the regular Plarail risers. Doesn't look like the original car is included but the seller included the inexpensive Hotwheels set so I am guessing the set will run Tomica cars as well as Hotwheels.

You are correct that the red roof is a booster, you can see it in motion in the Tomica video I linked in the Big Loader thread. Been thinking about getting this, reminds me of the old era of Hot Wheels when the turbo chargers were gas stations and the like instead of generic machinery. Hot Wheels cars may very well work due to the similarity to the Tomica scale.

On a side note it may be possible to expand this, I've seen bigger layouts but I'm not sure if there were track packs or they just bought multiple sets.

Maybe we would have to assume that additional powered booster houses is needed if the roadway is increased in distance to make sure the cars make it all the way. Upon closer examination maybe those riser aren't the standart Plarail train ones.

I cant find the video i really want to show but this vid below shows multiple boosters.
