i believe that can stack by using the four black signals. the underside has recesses that would fit them.

the automatic transfer station comes with the signals Even if you can acquire them, you can't do it for every playsets.

I see them listed occasionally on the Japan Auctions. Sometimes in listings with other items so you have to have a keen eye to pick up on them. You may end up with things you don't need but you can always flip those unwanted items onto Ebay. A seller to always keep an eye on for these is Uepon18. They are always listing new parts from sets and I have seen these signal posts listed with them before but none at the moment. I have bought several items from them in the past with good experiences. Their prices are on the high side but when you need something sometimes paying a little more is worth it.

These Transfer Stations can be stacked unlimited (expect AC to go to the ceiling). There are six points (see picture) of contact to stack them and are quite sturdy when complete.

All of the following was from one seller I am for sure glad I reached out to. This encounter started with me purchasing another item which shipped before this lot but I have not received it yet. But then I saw the Amtrak tunnel/platform in an auction. I let AC know but something told me to reach out to the seller. I asked if they had anything not listed yet from Japan/Plarail items, etc... And boy was that a great idea. I only saw two pictures but knew I had to get it. What goes with an Amtrak Tunnel/platform? Well the Amtrak train and cars of course. Also there were all of the additional trains. The seller said they would accept $100 and free shipping. I asked if they would throw in the Amtrak tunnel/platform and they agreed. Big Grin

Now, I am completely new to the "Suburban" range (I believe is what they are called) but there are several. Are any of these rare or better than the other? The other interesting thing is there are Snoopy/Peanuts stickers on almost all of the trains?? Easy enough to to remove those though.

Anyway, here are the pics. Let me know if anything jumps out or we need a closer pic. Oh, and the seller also threw in a Plarail catalog from 2000/2001 I believe. I still need to look through it all but I noticed a few of the trains already in it.

I am still shocked that all of this was in the US and scored at a very reasonable price. I am hoping the seller finds some more and let's me know. Big Grin

Wow, what a fantastic score Ripley.

Besides the Amtrak train the only thing that strikes me as hard to get would be the white DD51 and its 2 cars. Are you sorry you sold those two Amtrak coaches now?

Lots a fun for ahead with the cleaning up and running these. Its one of the things I like best with big Lots of trains and things.
