Yeah in end of evangelion or death and rebirth (can't remember which) they completed the eva series and there was a heap of those white units. The new movies aren't great if I'm honest I much prefer the show and early movies for their story but the new ones have fantastic animation.

The Mass Produced EVAs were in The End of Evangelion. Very creepy and a very brutal scene if you've seen the film.

Great looking train and with lights as well, I've already got one on the way from a Jauce auction and one of the PlaRail Advance versions on order as well from Amazon JP via From Japan.

The only thing I would say is it seems very slow for a Shinkansen or is it just me thinks so?

It has a two speed motor and in the video the switch looks to be in the middle position for regular speed not in the High position (forward).
