Well I see that there's a few of classic ones in the 8 packs of Thomas minis

I started by collecting all the regular & metallic engines but have stopped, I think I have about 20 or something. Sunhuntin has a huge collection and a few others here too.

I only have 1 metallic minis and 6 classics

Not enough lol!! So far I've only been able to get wave 1 & 2 in the UK here and the walmart special 50 set (thanks to Mr Ripley) so I've got somewhere in the region of ~ 110 although there are a couple in the 50 set that are duplicated in the wave 1 & 2.

If we ever get wave 3 or later in the UK I may get some more, but these days I'm moving away from these to other more esoteric stuff

I say "I" but I mean my son and I, have all of 2015 waves etc. I will have all the launchers soon, wave 2016 one and two complete- the two new mini play sets, the motorized set, the Christmas Advent, and 50 piece set, the 2015 Comic Con set, preordered 2016 Comic Con set, and have the glow in the dark on its way from California. I see there is a Batcave set out that I can't find. I also have many DC characters missing ((whether they are out or not)).

I'm keeping the minis organized in clear tackle boxes and the sets un opened in the closet. All our extras are for our boys to play with- because what would be the point to collect minis if we couldn't play with some?

Amazing, I don't really think about the mini's for a while and then yesterday go to the cinema and on my way back come across some triple packs I'd not seen before, so these are the new additions to my collection, have to say the translucent Luke is my favourite
